Hotel Mitland always respects the privacy of visitors, particularly the rights of visitors concerning the automated processing of personal data.
Due to full transparency with our guests, we have therefore formulated and implemented a policy regarding these processes themselves, their purpose, and the possibilities for those involved to exercise their rights as effectively as possible. For the rest, we will only use this data with your consent.

Article 3 – Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data We Process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about individuals under the age of 16 unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. Article 4 – For What Purpose and on What Basis We Process Personal Data

Each request must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document, on which you have signed and stated the address where you can be contacted. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. You will receive a response to your request within one month of submitting the request. Depending on the complexity of the requests and the number of requests, this period may be extended by two months if necessary.

Article 15 – Visual Material and Offered Products
No rights can be derived from the visual material accompanying the offered products on the website.
Article 16 – Camera Surveillance
Implementing camera surveillance helps us against, for example, theft or damage to property but also to protect your property. The administrator does everything possible to ensure that the invasion of privacy is minimized.
We do not retain the camera images longer than necessary. The guideline for this is a maximum of 4 weeks.
But if an incident is recorded, such as theft? Then we may retain the relevant images until this incident is resolved.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The court in the place of residence/establishment of the administrator has exclusive jurisdiction in any disputes concerning these terms, unless a legal exception applies.
