With this, Hotel Mitland demonstrates that corporate social responsibility and care for the environment play a lasting role within the organization.

Mitland's green backyard

Our attention to sustainability extends beyond the walls of the hotel. Located next to a protected nature reserve, we feel strongly connected to the green environment. In collaboration with the Municipality of Utrecht and the Voorveldse Polder Foundation, we invest in the preservation and enhancement of biodiversity in the adjacent park, a beloved spot for walkers, cyclists, and runners.

Help me prevent waste and receive a voucher

Unique to this project is that our guests can also participate. Those who forgo room or room service during a longer stay not only help save resources but also financially support the foundation. As a thank you, we offer a free drink in our restaurant or bowling alley. If the voucher is not used, we donate an additional amount. In this way, small choices directly contribute to a greener Utrecht, with tangible improvements for nature and the community around our hotel.
