Activities in Good Weather

  • Enjoy a relaxing walk through Wilhelminapark, one of the city's most beautiful parks with green lanes, ponds, and picnic spots.
  • Discover the vibrant city center of Utrecht. Stroll along the atmospheric canals, unique boutiques, and numerous restaurants and cafés.
  • Prefer something cultural? Visit one of the special museums in the area. Walk through the beautiful Botanical Gardens, delve into history at the Waterline Museum Fort bij Vechten, or explore the impressive forts of the Dutch Waterline.
  • Want to explore the area actively? Rent a bike at our reception and discover the nature around Utrecht at your own pace.
  • Prefer to explore Utrecht via the water? Rent a canoe at Botenverhuur de Rijnstroom or take a canal and singel cruise with Rederij Schuttevaer.
  • A bit further away from the city but definitely worth a visit are Castle de Haar and the National Military Museum.

Looking for a fun outing with the whole family? In and around Utrecht, there's plenty of entertainment for children of all ages.

  • For families, Griftpark and Geertjes Hoeve are perfect places to go. Children can play outside and enjoy the petting zoo. At Pancake In The Park, children can have fun in the playground while enjoying pancakes and other treats.
  • Prefer a cultural outing? A visit to the Railway Museum is highly recommended, where young and old can learn all about the world of trains. Museum Speelklok, the Nijntje Museum, and DOMunder are also incredibly fun and educational to visit with children.
