Spend the winter at Mitland

What is included in our winter package?
During our Winter Package, you will stay in one of our comfortable Superior Rooms. After a day in the city, you do not have to go out again to relax. Take a refreshing dip in our indoor swimming pool or warm up in one of the saunas. Prefer to stay active a little longer? Our fitness room and bowling alley are also at your disposal. The next morning, start the day at ease with an extensive breakfast buffet in our Restaurant Vlonders. After a wonderful night's sleep and a good breakfast, you can set off feeling refreshed.
The winter package can be booked from just €149.50 for two people and includes:
- Overnight stay in a Superior Room
- Extensive breakfast buffet in the restaurant
- Use of the swimming pool, saunas and fitness room

Winter activities in Utrecht
U on Ice
From December 10 through 26, Jaarbeursplein turns into an ice rink. Admission and skate rental are free, and skating aids are available for the little ones. Of course, there will also be traditional snacks and drinks to enjoy.
Winter Station at the Railway Museum
From December 19 through January 3, the Railway Museum turns into a Winter Station full of Christmas trees, hundreds of lights, a carousel and cozy food stalls. Of course, an ice rink cannot be missing here; you can even skate among the trains!
The Utrecht Winter Spectacle
From December 11 through January 3, the Utrecht Winter Spectacle takes place at the Jaarbeurs, for young and old. From skating and curling to performances: there is something for everyone. There is also plenty of catering to be found, such as an après-ski café and a beer garden.
Nativity Scene Museum Catharijneconvent
From December 12 through January 6, there will once again be a nativity scene at Museum Catharijneconvent. Be enchanted by a nativity scene with no fewer than 600 nativity figures. They are genuine museum pieces, dating from the eighteenth century.
Steck Festival
Through December, Steck is all about Christmas with stalls, workshops, music and, of course, an oliebollen stall! They even have 5,000m² of autumn, winter and Christmas items here.
Luminiscene
With a light show, choir, orchestra and the voice of Daan Schuurmans, the story of the Jacobikerk and the city is told. An experience that will make you never see the church in the same way again! Be enchanted by Luminiscene in the Jacobikerk in Utrecht and continue to enjoy yourself afterwards at Hotel Mitland. No rush to go home, but a comfortable overnight stay and a relaxed wake-up the next morning with an extensive breakfast. Luminous Nights
From December 4 through January 3, Kasteel de Haar transforms into an enchanting setting full of light, music and special stories. During The Luminous Nights, you will discover the largest castle in the Netherlands in a completely different way. An atmospheric winter outing for young and old!
