For the cold winter months, we present a delicious
buffet with authentic Dutch dishes.
Entrée
• Dutch pea soup, served with a thin slice of
rye bread, with smoked bacon, or
• Kidney bean soup (richly filled) with lean
smoked bacon
Warm dishes
• Leyden hodge-podge with rib of beef
• Dutch sauerkraut hodgepodge with sausage
• Traditional kale with small strips of bacon
• Grandmother’s meatballs and slices of bacon
Served with:
• Lima beans
• Finely chopped onion
• Sweet-and-sour pickles
• Sour/silver onions
• Amsterdam onions
• Fried pieces of bacon
• Piccadilly
• Mustard
Desserts
• Apple tart with whipped cream and cinnamon
ice cream
• Semolina pudding with forest-fruit sauce
Price: € 32,50 per person
This buffet can be combined with bowling. The Hotel
Mitland Polder Buffet can be reserved for our splendid Water Lilly Room
with a view of Fort de Bilt on the water. (If available.) Only possible
for parties of 30 adults min. (Reservations must be made in advance.)
